Charles Renato was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, where he built his career teaching, choreographing, and directing for television, stage productions, and the famous Carnaval. In 2014, Charles moved to the United States and has since worked internationally, teaching at festivals and workshops across Europe, North, Central, and South America. He has performed with Apt 33, directed by Chloe Arnold, Dorrance Dance, directed by Michelle Dorrance, and Caleb Teicher & Co., directed by Caleb Teicher. He is a former faculty member at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center, and he is currently part of DanceOne, teaching and judging for 24 Seven and NUVO.
