Scholarship Info
INTRO
At 24 Seven, our mission is to provide dancers opportunities to grow far beyond their experience on the convention weekend. Scholarship auditions and opportunities are a great way for dancers to receive recognition for all their hard work. The auditions also provide a "real world experience" where dancers can learn their strengths and weaknesses in an audition room. Our auditions are hosted by our artists in a way that makes this a fun experience without the fear of being judged.
NON-STOP DANCER
At 24 Seven, all Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior dancers (ages 8-19) that are registered for the full workshop are eligible to participate in the Non-Stop Dancer Scholarship Audition Class. Dancers must audition by their age as of January 1, 2026. ALL DANCERS MUST BE IN THEIR "AGE APPROPRIATE" ROOM FOR THE NON-STOP DANCER AUDITION AS WELL AS THE PRECEDING AUDITION COMBO CLASS. Dancers will learn a short jazz or lyrical routine in the class prior to the audition. During the audition, dancers will be broken up into groups and the 24 SEVEN artists will evaluate their performance.
Dancers will be chosen by the artists in each of the following age groups: Mini (8-10), Junior (11-12), Teen (13-15) and Senior (16-19). The selected students will be announced at the end of the audition. These students will be the "Non-Stop Dancer Finalists"! All Non-Stop Dancer Finalists will be called up on stage during the Closing Show on Sunday afternoon where the Winners and remaining Runners-up in each age division will be announced. PLEASE NOTE: Dancers must attend ALL classes and wear their scholarship numbers for all of Saturday's and Sunday's classes.
Once you are a Non-Stop Dancer Winner in one regional city, you are not eligible to be a Non-Stop Dancer (Winner or Runner-up) or win a High 5 Scholarship in another city. Non-Stop Dancer Runners-up may continue to audition in other cities to become a Non-Stop Dancer Winner.
Non-Stop Dancer Winners will receive:
- $300 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2026 (Intensive only)
- One 24 Seven Tour Scholarship, to be used at any 24 Seven regional workshop during the 2025-2026 & 2026-2027 season

HIGH 5
In every regional city, each artist will be awarding scholarships in each of their individual classes to dancers that excel at their particular style. This will give students the opportunity to receive scholarships in all disciplines of dance: tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, ballet, etc. High 5 Scholarships can be awarded to any dancer, ages 8-19, in the Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior workshop levels. The number of scholarship winners may vary depending on convention size and skill level.
Dancers are eligible for only one High 5 scholarship per season.
One-day students are not eligible for High 5 Scholarships.
Dancers may only receive one High 5 Scholarship per season.
All High 5 Scholarship recipients receive:
- $150 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2026 (Intensive only)
- IMPORTANT: Winning a High 5 Scholarship does not make a dancer eligible to compete in the 2026 Best Dancer Competition at The Dance Awards. However, a High 5 Class Scholarship Winner may still audition in other cities to become a Regional Non-Stop Dancer, thereby making them eligible to compete in the 2026 Best Dancer Competition at The Dance Awards.
WEEKEND WARRIOR
In every regional city, each 24 Seven artist will choose one dancer as the recipient of their “Weekend Warrior” scholarship. This dancer may be someone who excels in class, someone who shows a lot of potential, or someone who stands out to the artists for a special reason. Weekend Warrior Scholarships can be awarded to any dancer, ages 8-19, in the Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior workshop levels.
The Weekend Warrior Scholarship recipient can come back to one 24 Seven during the 2026-2027 regional season and participate in the workshop, free of charge!
Dancers are eligible for only one Weekend Warrior Scholarship per season.
One-day dancers and 24 Seven Non-Stop Dancer Winners are not eligible for Weekend Warrior Scholarships.
PARENT BATTLE
During our Closing Show, 24 Seven holds a Parent Dance Battle! Volunteers are called to the stage to battle it out for the title of "Parent Battle Champion." The volunteers will battle it out over a round of improvisation before a champion is crowned. The Parent Battle Champion is awarded the Parent Battle Scholarship, which is good for their child to come back to one 24 SEVEN workshop during the 2026-2027 regional season, free of charge! The Parent Battle Champion must provide the name of their dancer at the time of crowning. The Parent Battle Scholarship is non-transferrable between dancers. Good luck Parents!
